Today was the BARC, http://bryanarc.org, island lunch. We set up 3 antennas; Two buddipoles, one on 15m, and the other on 17m. We also had a 20m veteical ham stick. I operated under the club call sign ,W5BCS, on 15m and was able to make 2 contacts both in Oregon. I’m really excited about upgrading to General class, and getting to contest. I used my FT-897d to make the contact using 100 watts on the buddipole in a “dipole” configuration. For more information check out the BARC site.
